In 2007 I saw Mr. Lehman play in Hawaii. It was my first experience at a tournament. There were several "big names" there. I saw Mr. Lehman talk to two young boys during the round. He gave them balls and signed them at the end of the day. I had seen how kind he was to everyone. He signed balls. He laughed and talked to people. He even spoke to me- a retired school teacher. I ran in to the pro shop and bought a ball for my husband. Mr. Lehman was gone by then. I asked one of the big names to autograph the ball. He pushed it away and yelled at me-telling me that he didn't give away his autograph on balls....What a difference from the gentleman who took the time to be so kind to people.
He seems to be doing well today (Apr18,2009) I hope that he wins the tournament. Even if he doesn't he's a winner in my book.
